Why won't bejeweled Blitz on iPod touch won't let me connect?

I've just got Bejeweled 2 for my iPod touch 3rd Gen. The problem is that I can't log in to Facebook to play Blitz. When I tap on 'connect' the app just quits on me every time so I end up back on the springboard. Does anybody else have the same problem? And is there a way to fix it?|||You have no internet connection

Why do I get "No Windowed Mode" message on Bejeweled 2 Deluxe ?

When I launch the game and try to get it to window mode I get the message "Windowed mode is only available if your desktop is running either 16 bit or 32 bit color mode, which it is not".


I quit and exit the game then re-launch and it will go to window mode. But the next time I play it is back in full screen.


Why won't it go in window mode during first launch and stay in window mode ? How do I get it to stay in window mode ?

Hints&cheats for pc bejeweled 2?

There are no cheats for Bejeweled. To get a lot of points in normal mode I focus on eliminating jewels from the top and when they run out I then go to the bottom, then back to the top. I got scores of over 33000 doing that. In time trial I try to stay in the first levels very long since those levels the bar moves down slowly. When the bar fulls nearly full I let it run down a little then eliminate jewels. Doing this I got scores of over 32000.|||you're an idiot. my step-mom has tons of cheats for that game. she can make it snow, change the jewel shapes %26amp; colors, make the bakcground change, and a lot of other stuff.

I posted earlier and maybe didn't make myself clear. I am trying to download from a disk that I purchased at the store. I keep getting an error message saying there's a problem with the program executable. Could I have something on my machine that's blocking the download ???|||Are you installing the game to your computer or trying to run it from disk? There should be a setup.exe usually that installs the game to your computer. Are you sure the game is compatible with your computer? Perhaps the problem is related to your video card drivers or your sound drivers. I suppose you downloaded this game from Yahoo!. Does your computer match the system requirements for the game? Maybe you got a bad download or the game didn't install properly. Try uninstalling and re-installing the game. Try downloading the game again. Try downloading and running another game with similar system requirements from Yahoo!. If the problem only occurs with Bejewelled 2, then contact the software publisher's technical support staff.


If you can't run any games, then look for and install any updated sound and video drivers for your computer system. Also, make sure that you're using the latest version of the DirectX runtime files. Go to Microsoft's web site to download it.

Ive recently become addicted to this game, but cannot seem to get past a score of about 60,000. Yet I see other players with scores up in the hundreds of thousands, can anyone give me any tips please?

|||I agree with montoad1...I go from top to bottom. Although my highest score is only 1 million. Also, try to collect as many of the hypercubes (chain of 5) as possible and don't use them unless you really need to. I've saved 7 hypercubes at one point. I actually try to avoid the chain of 4 bomb.

|||You can move the jewels as many times as you want until there are no more available moves, the best thing to do is take your time and work out the next three moves instead of the simple one move strategy.|||The easiest way of getting high scores is to get a chain of 4 gems which will also clear any gems near by, or a 5 gem chain gives you a glowing sphere which if swapped with another single gem will clear all the gems of the same colour. The other option is to play the Endless game, which will carry on longer than you could possibly want to and the scores there will run to millions.|||wish i knew , let me know if you find out|||Try to get as many of the bombs as you can by making a line of four. Then use the bombs to explode lots of jewels.





Also, if at all possible, make the hypergem by making a line of five gems. When you use the hypergem, all gems of the same kind that you swapped with with disappear. That can boost your score very high.





As they said, take your time and plan your next move.|||you can get how many moves possible when you run oout of moves it means there is no moves left simply.....think how the stones falls put them in right order so you get a multi row

Please advise. KenJ|||I think it depends on what type of EULA (end user license agreement) you agreed to when you first installed the game. Most of the time, games you purchase and download like Bejeweled require a separate license per computer. Sometimes, however, it's per user, meaning that if you are the only one using the software in question, you can theoretically install it on every computer you own, so long as you, and only you, use it.





Really, though, I don't think that the $10 or $20 is going to break the company that sold you the game. You did more than most people did by paying for it once. If it were me, I'd install it on the wife's computer.|||Yes, depending on which publisher you bought the game from. (Most casual games have multiple publishers so the terms vary.)





If you have the Reflexive (gamesocks.com or reflexive.net) version you're allowed to reregister the game on another PC (if you own that PC, of course!)

I just bought this game and I can't get it to install. I put the cd in, the green light comes on but that's it. Nothing else happens. I took the cd out and went to into my computer and the cd rom isn't listed anymore. I reboot and the cd rom appears in the list of drives again. OK, I found one. I unlocked "Hyper" mode by making it to level 9 in Action mode. Hyper mode plays just like Action mode, except at warp speed.|||I've unlocked one more secret mode. It's Cognito. Solve ALL puzzles in Puzzle mode to get Cognito. I believe there are 2 more secret modes called Twilight and Finity, but I've yet to find out how to unlock them. Anyone knows how? I'll be looking for an answer....

Why I have to install the bejeweled cd game every time a want to play it?

I have the bejeweled 2 game and I installed in the computers that i have. In one of them i can play the game without the cd but in the other one every time i want play it ask me for the original cd, When I insert it still asking for the cd and i can't play. Where can I find a candy-themed game that's similar to Bejeweled 2?

I played this game a LONG time ago, several years ago, where you match up groups of 3 or more multicolored candies (with faces) shaped like Hershey's kisses, and they exploded when you clicked on groups of candies of the same color with a funny noise. It's like Bejeweled 2, only it's with pieces of candy instead of gems, and you're not limited to 5 pieces in a row and you don't swap candies to form groups of the same color. You find groups of candies the same color, and click on them to watch them explode/pop with a weird sound and different colored candies take their place, and like Bejeweled, the entire playing screen is filled with items. As you level up, the candies get more color variety and there are ones with special effects when you click on a group with special candies in it. I think the name of it has the word "Candy" in it, but I can't remember its full name. My problem isn't actually with WINE, but rather is in the fact that Bejeweled 2 Deluxe is an audio CD that will play in a regular CD player, in addition to having the regular game files. Ubuntu thinks it's an audio CD and will only display the audio files. I'm no n00b to Linux, I know what I'm doing, but Ubuntu insists that it's an audio CD.|||Where's your windows box? Im playing Bejeweled 2 Endless mode and im looking for cheats to make it go faster. Im on another site and it says a way to speed up endless is to open config.xml and change the last 2 lines from 500 and 150 to 1. What is config.xml and what lines. How do i open it. I have windows vista also, if thats help.|||Config.xml is a file located within Bejeweled 2 that contains all the in-game configurations that are stored outside the game. You'll likely find it at "C:\Program Files\PopCap Games\Bejeweled 2 Deluxe\Data" ... assuming you picked up the PopCap version of the game %26amp; used the default settings. If you're using a different version (Yahoo! or GameHouse), the exact location of your Bejeweled 2 folder will be different.





FIRST OF ALL, make a copy of the file BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING! That way you can restore the defaults once you're done cheating. When making the copy, name it something like config.bak.xml so you know it's a backup copy.





Second, you can open XML files with any text editor like Notepad or even word pad. If you have Microsoft Word installed or a WYSIWYG editor like DreamWeaver or NVU, your computer may load those up instead... which isn't a big deal.





Once saved, all the game modes on Bejeweled 2 will level up a lot faster! However, you'll still likely take about 2 hours to unlock Finity Mode through Endless Mode.

there is no way to "remove" a score on xbox live. the score will remain there unless someone "outscores" you.





on bejeweled 2 though, you can hit the "X" button to scroll through the leader boards and you may appear on more than one leader board (thus remain).





i accidentally had my game state deleted on bejeweled 2 and had to start the endless mode (ug) all over; my original score remained there until i "outscored" myself.

Second, you could google Bejewled 2 torrets, and use Utorrent to download it, but be careful, because it's illegal (Just like music, but almost everyone does it haha).|||well u should go back to the website that you downloaded it from and download it again then put in the code|||Send email to the site you bought it from and use the same address you used back then. They'll be able to look up your order and hopefully give you a new code for your new computer - because usually different computers take different codes.





If you have to buy it again, get it from Game Socks because they let you put games on more than one computer and they have a reinstall procedure so you probably wouldn't have any trouble like this with them...

How to make 3 set cascades on Bejeweled 2?

%26amp; 6 %26amp; 9 set cascades|||i was just wondering the same thing because i had to do all of those for this challenge thingy lol but i did a little research and i found out that a set was when you make a match of 3 gems or more and more gems fall and those gems automatically line up into a line of 3 so that would be one set... its sort of like a chain reaction thing. Im sorri if this doesn't help you much but a hope i helped a little!

i haven't scored above 5000|||You have to games ending before you break the 5K mark? Pardon me for poking fun at you, but you have to be extremely bad to that as everybody that I know who have played Bejeweled 2 has managed to get beyond the 5K point.





On the flipside, I have seen a few extremely bad games that usually ended in the 2nd level... 1 royally bad game ended on the 1st level (which was an extremely shocking occurrence).





There's not much I can give you for advice, but here's a few tips...





* Try to make 4 or 5-clear combos -- 4-combo will give you a Super Gem, which will explode when clear (earning more points) %26amp; 5-combo (in a straight line) will give you the very valuable Hypercube.





Please note that clearing 2 lines of 3 in an L or T-shape will only count as a 4-clear combo.





* Save your Hypercubes as long as possible! -- Hypercubes are essentially lifelines in the game. As long as you have one in classic, you cannot lose the game. When you finally run out of moves, then you'll be forced to use one.





* AVOID USING ON-DEMAND HINTS!!! -- When you have trouble finding a move, wait %26amp; the game will give you a hint for free. Every time you hit the Hint button, you lose points %26amp; progress.





* Try clearing moves near the bottom of the screen -- I usually use this technique to help gauge available moves in Classic as the further up on the play field that you have to go in order to make a move, the worse the play field is %26amp; the closer you are to losing the game. If you're playing near the top of the play field, you're pretty much relying on luck to keep the game going %26amp; Lady Luck will eventually turn her back on you.

I just got the computer.It's a Compac Presario. It has 2 gigs of RAM, large hard drive, Vista Premium. Runs like a dream, except the cursor is hard to control in Bejeweled 2, and the graphics are sluggish. Also in Diablo 2, when I toggle on the map the video gets choppie and the cursor is hard to control.


Is this maybe a compatability issue with Vista ? Is there anything I can try to tweak ? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !|||Yes,this is a Vista problem. Go to game sites %26amp; ck. for patches.|||It could be your video card, you talk about poor graphics and slow control, so I assume you are using a standard video card. You have a very good PC, but it's not really a gaming pc without a good video card.
